Perry Group News - January 2020
A Happy New Year to all from the team at Perry Group.
We are having an exciting start to the new year, with a variety of new and interesting work.
First, one of our team of Senior Consultants is providing interim CIO services to one of our long standing clients. We are providing leadership coverage for an extended leave for the current CIO. This has been an interesting development for us and provided insight into a service that we hope to extend to other clients in future.
Next, some interesting projects further afield than we have tackled in the past. We were recently selected to help the City of Abbotsford, BC work on a digital strategy - one of their Council’s top priorities for 2020. This is an exceptional opportunity for us and a continued sign of the growing interest and commitment to digital and digital transformation.
Continuing the trend of work further from home, we are currently working with the City of Whitehorse in Yukon on an IT strategy - also a very interesting project, with some particularly interesting IT challenges due to location and service availability.
Closer to home - work on Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery projects, a rapidly growing area for us, is currently underway with Middlesex County, Whitby, Halton Hills, Burlington and Ajax.
We have been working with Whitby on GIS strategy work. With Innisfil on Digital Strategy. With Guelph, Ajax and Oshawa on IT Strategy and with Lincoln on a corporate systems master plan.
We have also helped a number of clients with IT management and staff recruitment over the past couple of months.
Things are busy - but we are always on the lookout for new and interesting opportunities. If you think we could help - please get in touch.
