Because of this, we have purposefully built a Digital Planning and Permitting team that includes experts with deep experience in planning and building, process management and optimization, and Planning and Permitting systems.

This team has been helping municipalities such as Greater Sudbury, York Region and its area municipalities, Richmond Hill, Orillia, Lincoln, Haldimand County and Waterloo Region understand the opportunity and position themselves to take advantage of the digital possibilities around planning and permitting. Our business process optimization of building and planning process across over 15 municipalities has consistently identified significant opportunities for savings.

In fact, all members of our Digital Planning and Permitting team have worked in municipalities, led digitally-enabled business changes and seen first-hand the tremendous potential for digital to improve the development process – we've seen turnaround times reduced on applications by up to 50%, significantly increased customer satisfaction, and major savings.

Over the last few years, we have been working with numerous municipalities across Ontario to conduct business process optimization work around the permitting and planning processes.
